Who are we?
The 4 Local Foundation is a small group of individuals helping support and promote small businesses by organizing unique fundraising events that benefit local charitable organizations in our community.

2020 Event - BrewQuest
2020 was not the ideal year to start a nonprofit, especially since our main plan for fundraising was to organize a normal beer festival. In-person restriction due to the pandemic made us search for a new recipe for helping local small businesses and local nonprofits. The BrewQuest was created to help our small business breweries while raising funds for our 2020 chosen nonprofit, Laurel House. The BrewQuest was simple game that took people on a journey to up to 92 locations in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. The mission was simple; buy a select t-shirt from our Bonfire store, responsibly travel to the 92 independent businesses, purchase their finely made craft liquids, document their visit by posting a photo on social media, and tag us. We awarded points for each location a participant visited and gave out prizes at the end of each contest.

Our 2020 BrewQuest was able to raise $2,008 for Laurel House! Thank you to all that participated in our first event!
2021 Event - The Remix
2021 was the year we could organize our first in-person beer festival fundraising event, as long as we worked with the public safety restrictions. The normal flow of a beer festival environment wouldn't allow for enough social distancing. Our solution was to remix the flow to have the attendees seated at tables while having the breweries rotate around to each table. The Remix was a way to enjoy the atmosphere of a beer festival at our host brewery, Blueprint Brewing Company, learn about the different breweries and their beverages, and raise awareness and funds for our chosen nonprofit, Laurel House.

The 2021 The Remix was able to raise $4,113 for Laurel House! Thank you to all the participating breweries, sponsors, and attendees that helped us have such a great event!
